Thread: Lake Tarpon Bait and Tackle Parking

I was looking at Google earth and I cannot tell if Lake Tarpon Bait and Tackle has room for you to park your car and boat? Or do you put your boat in the lake and the ride it over to the bait store and pull into a slip?

I may drive out there this weekend with no boat just to see what space is available as I don't want to drive out there and find there is no room for the rigs.

You can pull up on the grass off the road next to the fence on the north side of the marina,then after you have got your bait you can make a u turn in the parking lot of the apartment complex on the left side of that road when leaving. I do that everytime I buy bait there driving a full size SUV towing an 18ft. bassboat. Make sure you are at the right marina though because the bait shop had moved to the marina just north of where it was a few years ago. I found that out this season when I went to the old location to find they had moved and it took away from fishing time. I would call the owner Steve when you're on the way # is still the same. he is a really nice guy and will help you get on some fish!!! Good luck
