    Default Rockahock sunday report

Took the kayak to rockahock. Was a lil busy when i got there so tried down river first. No luck so went to the dam. Ended up catching 20 + fish on minnows and jigs. Mostly on the outgoing tide. Fish were on the bottom or close to it. Jig color was blue ice and Cajun cricket. Biggest fish was 13.5 inches. Most were around 9-11. Couple 12 inches. All released to catch another day. My freezers already full.

Hey Woody are the fish behind this year. Are any being caught down at the boat docks yet?

Haven't been able to get down there yet. Broke my wrist so yaking is out of the question. Would imagine that you can pick some up there. Catch the tide right.

I fish both the Chick lake and Chick river and have for years. The crappie are in both the lake and river where they are year after year. Due to the fact that I qualify as a lurker I find the lack of post on Chick Lake and Chick River amusing. I have caught plenty of crappie in both the lake and river since late October. I fished 4 days Thanksgiving week and gave my catch each day to Ray (I think) that was fishing out of a white Champion bass boat. He said he knew Wooddduck. Real nice guy and we had a blast. I fish alone and really miss fishing with my brother Keith (PanMan) and my dad Willie. Lurkers don't share fishing information we just read these post to find out where to fish. I will fish Sunday and see no reason why I can't catch my limit of crappie for the 5th Chick fishing trip in a row. You guys have fun and be safe. Mickey (HamMan).

Good to hear from you Mickie. I miss our rocket scientist too. And I hope my son and I will have a relationship like you boys had with your dad.
