Good job Dennis. I haven't seen but a few does and small bucks. Shot a hog opening day of black powder after seeing nothing. Movement has been next to zero around here the last few days. Need some deer steak and jerky meat!

Your experiencing lock down like the rest of us. The bucks pester the does so much they quit coming to feeding areas, and get out of their patterns to stay away from the bucks until they are ready to breed.

Its coming to an end shortly. Hang in there and success will be yours to enjoy. :D

    It's a .243WSSM, shooting a 100 grain BTHP Speer.

Last night was the end of gun season, so decided to use a pistol. S&W .45LC, hand loaded with 250 grain Hornady SST Bullets.

She made 40 yds and expired.

Actually, none of the 4 I've taken so far this season have gone to my freezer. I know some folks that have some issues in life, so every year, I do what I can to get them some protein.
I've got an elk hunting coming up, hopefully with some success there, my freezer will get filled.
