Default I-Pilot remote back cover replacement

I had to replace the back cover of my I-Pilot remote to fix a battery compartment problem. Here is a link to the youtube video.

Default I-Pilot remote back cover replacement

    Good info. Thx for posting.

What was wrong with the original back? Seems they should replace it at no cost if it was a defect.

a lot of people damage the battery hold in prongs when they change their batterys......therefore sometimes you have to replace the back

Where did you buy your replacement? I've bought parts for my Terrova and front covers for remotes from fish307. I don't know how MinnKota parts can be so inexpensive.

The replacement cover was bought from Minn-kota, $4.40 plus $5.00 for shipment.
