    So you bought the pot n never made jambalaya before? Lol. I have a great recipe if yA need one. It's on my facebook under my notes section. It's the guy that beat bobby flay in a jambalaya throw downs recipe. Chicken, sausage n Tasso ham. Fine stuff

    I prefer to call it a Burgoo kettle, and we are going to use it for crawdad and shrimp boil at our campground. I do hope to learn to make Jambalaya and I will try your recipe for sure.

    It's fine. You can make the base and freezeo t. Then when you want done, just put it in the pit, add rice n chicken stock, saves you a lot of time. Takes close to an hour to make the base

    That would not boil enough "crawfish" for 2 cajuns.
