I really expected not to catch much until dark when the minnow bite turned on but it never developed last night, or at least not while I was there. The tunnel was full of stripe and small crappie as soon as I got there and I had action on the jig up until 330 or so and then I started setting up for the minnow bite. Most evenings they really start whacking minnows as soon as the sun dips below the mountain but that wasn't the case last night, I only caught 5 after sunset and all of those were in the mouth of the tunnel and the bite was so light that you really had to be watching your cork or you would think that the current was moving it.

Riverboss I believe the 4 am to 9 bite is the best right now. That should change to the sunset bite to around 8 or 9p.m bite for me this time a year, but the weather has been warmer.

Love that pink and white combo in that area. Great report thanks. Usually have good luck on that evening bite there as well. Should change back when conditions change and water gets a little colder.
