Send Grousefly a PM and let him know what you want !!

    But, I gotta ask : why such a small hook on such a large jighead ?? I'm using a #2 Aberdeen on 1/32 & 1/16oz ball head jigs ... for 1.5" plastics !!

Thanks. I will go with #4 then. For fishing deeper and I like to be able to straighten hooks if snaged

I straighten out a lot of the #2 Aberdeen hooks that Grousefly uses on his jigs, and I'm using 6# test Vicious Panfish copoly line. Before I switched over to his jigs with a #2 hook, I was using his jigs with a #4 and straightening them out with 4# test mono. And, no .... they are not "soft" hooks, as I've lift-landed Crappie over 2lbs with them, and several other species of greater weight, and never once "opened" the hook when doing so.

My main reason for switching to a #2 hook was because I had switched from using mostly 1.5" solid plastic baits, to using 2" solid plastic baits with a thicker profile and wanted a good gap between the top of the plastics and the hook point. I wish it was because I was catching bigger fish and needed the larger hook but that's not the case

If you go with Grousefly, let him know that you are a Crappie.com member, and you'll get a discount on orders of a certain number of his products.

You can PM him through this site
    Call him at 606-642-3167
Email him at : [email protected]

He makes the products in the order in which he receives them, so there may be a delay in getting your order processed, depending on how busy he is currently.
