    Default Not a fishing story...

My youngest daughter was shaking so bad she just put the gun down and started laughing. " I can't hold it steady". So we just closed the windows and watched. Wasn't the way I had pictured it turning out, but I wouldn't trade that 5 minutes for anything. Oh well, another day maybe. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1448941145.321749.jpg

This! I think we all get it every so often. When the excitement ends and the heavy breathing no longer happens, its time to find another adventure. Least she had the wherewithal to not make a bad shot that ended with him having a serious long suffering wound. Great story and thanks for sharing. Beautiful buck too!

I still shoot em but getting em on camera is just as good as mounting em to me. A lot of men would have just taken the shot themselves. Congrats. Her time will come.

I'm with you boatbottom. I quit shooting when my oldest started hunting with me 20 years ago. Found that I get a bigger kick when they do the shooting. I love to go and find them. Just take a book and a bag of pistachios along with a camera. You can mess up a great day by shooting cause then ya gotta go to work.
