    Default Lake Verret Report 11-29-15

Went on Sunday. No Sac-a-lait BUT I didn't fish were I was told they were biting. I fished crackerhead and the open water. I did however catch catfish on worms in the main lake. FIshed the big trees. Water temp was 68. Water was muddy in the canals BUT clear in the main area.

^this is what it looked like all day.

scottyl44 that's a nice mess. I went Monday (11/30) and fished the Cracker Head just caught a bunch of little fish none big enough to keep. Heard at the landing that the catfish were biting on worms but I didn't bring any. Also heard that the bass were biting in Belle River and some fish being caught in the Union Canals. If you see a red Bass Tracker with CDC stickers on the windshield stop and say hello.

It seems the catfish are always biting to some extent on the lake shore, it is a good backup plan to bring worms when going to Verret.
