    Default Panhandle crappie

    Finally took a break from snatching mullet and went crappie fishing on a small 250 acre pond up here in the Florida Panhandle. Not the quality of Seminole or Talquin but sufficient for a couple of meals. Used the longline technique.....most were caught on a 'acid rain' curly tail. Water temp 62

    Hey Fishwalton;
    My brother (step) lives up there in Ponce De Leon Springs.
    He has "zero" luck at catching crappie. It'd be nice if you'd
    take him fishing and teach him a few things as to fishing up there .......
    Right now he's in Illinois hauling corn/soybeans (truck driver) but should be back
    soon.
    Perhaps I can arrange a meeting between you two, he's a pretty cool fellow.
    If you've a notion .................(absolutely no pressure to do so) etc, etc .......

    JB, I be proud to have a nice catch like those, those trips to Talquin are paying dividends.
