We're booked at Ga Boys for Dec 2nd-5th....If fishing reports say go and the weather is good....WE GONE>>> call Steve at GA Boys.... GOOD DUDE... looking forward to the trip if the fish are ready!

We'll be there. Stayed there last January, just was looking for closer to middle of lake. Look for us. Forget cabin # but we'll be in Ford truck, Camo Triton.We're all Middle Ga. guys. I had to move to NC for my job 11 years ago,but retired now. Hope to see you week after Thanksgiving. With that said Happy Thanksgiving to All!!

I actually thought Leonards was alright for location & room was good enough for the little time we spent in it.

Lakeview is old style Motel - basic conviences - not on lake - no cleaning station
Clean rooms - old
Leonards Resort - Fish Camp is a dive, but is on the lake, has place for your boat
and cleaning station - will cost approx 20 plus to stay there vs Lakeview.

Only other places around would be the various B & B's - and/or week - monthly
rental cabins at $1,000 plus per week.

Can clean your fish down at public ramp or park ramp........but again no per-sa
cleaning station - tail gate of truck etc.

I have to disagree that it is clean. Place is a true dump. Old and few amenities can be ok if maintained. Stayed at Lake Talquin Lodge, old cabins but was very clean, yes a few repairs could be needed but was without a doubt clean. Lakeview is just simply a dive. They have let it go and do not care because there is few options. Close to Crescent, but Deland is only 20 minutes away and other areas not much further. I hope anyone thinking about coming to Florida and trying Crescent is not buffaloed by the pics on their website from maybe 20 years ago or whenever the last renovation was done there. Place really does a dis service to fisherman coming to town and they could not care less. Give me your money and shut up. Place is maintained like a crack lodge and should be noted as that. Hopefully anyone looking for reviews on Lakeview Hotel in Crescent City finds this. Go elsewhere.
