Spraying Wild Honeysuckle
I guess everyone has heard about the Corps spraying weed killer on the wild honeysuckle around the lake? While checking my deer in I spoke with a person at Wolf Creek S.P. and he said that it was too windy on the scheduled day and that it may not get done this year. Pat we need to make sure they don't spray our hen of the woods next fall.

In Ohio, the local parks have been treating bush Honeysuckle with Round- up (Glyphosphate) in mid November because by then the only thing green in the woods is Honeysuckle, there for it is the only specieses effected, all of the desirable woody plants and trees ie, Oak, Maple ect.. are already dormant. I have tryed this at My farm and the result was around 85% kill with nothing else effected.

Tom 513, that is exactly what the person I spoke to had said. He also told me that the public would be notified again so the coves where the helicopter was to spray could be avoided. This Honeysuckle is a real problem!
