I confirmed it with the team that had the 13 lbs plus...................
Rules were you could fish anywhere that water of crescent went................
So the winning team took advantage and went looking for Crappie.
Crescent Lake - Dead Lake - Haas Creek - Dunns Creek -St Johns River
I asure you their catch "smoked" the tournament.
Ought to be very interesting this comming week when the "Pro's Come to Visit"
Could be some tuff weigh in's - hard to get 10 lbs total - unless cold weather
and migration steps up.

I kind of lean toward the theory that there is a resident population and a migratory population of crappie in the st johns lakes. Sometimes crappie have a yellow tint, while others have a more traditional green, black and white appearance. I wonder if this contrast shows that the yellow specks stayed in the lake year round, while the others moved to the deeper river.
