    Default Caught this dog today


    Standing on her back feet photo bombing my one and only crappie caught today!! Fished Meldahl pool creek. Shad were high in h20 column last week but not now... Shad all within 2ft of bottom 15-20ft deep and h20 temp has dropped 10 degrees sense last week...... It was a rrrrrrruff day !

    I'm going out Thursday morning. Hopefully a little warmer weather will get em going again.

    What kind of boat do you have crappiecrazed? Looks like a Ranger from the shape of the bow panel

    That explains it. I always liked those boats and thought they had similar lines to the 400 series Rangers. They are excellent riding boats if I remember. Had to ask, I'm a boat geek

    Very nice riding. I've been in quite a few boats that do the chine walking around 65-70. I get gps 67 consistently but a few times I've got 69. No chine. Pin straight. It's 19ft.... My uncle had a 21ft hawk that was a great boat. It handled big water better than mine...Both boats designed and built by a guy last name story.. Shame they are gone. I'd buy again

    That's about what mine runs. I've had it ten years now. I'd love to get a new one but I can't justify it and don't see too many advantages of a new one. A little more fuel efficient motor would be nice though. I got a 3.1 yamaha that's very thirsty but pretty strong
