Thread: HEY ED......NORTH VS SOUTH

I know what they mean. I was at Toledo Bend last year, they had an inch or two, and after I drove there down Interstate 10, they closed it.

Up here, unless you get 5 feet, no worries. Shake it off and move on down the road.

But I chose the former, on purpose now cause I'm tired of "shaking it off".

Mother Nature just had to get one last one in on me. I hate it. There were too many cars and trucks and trailer in the driveway so I had to drag the big garbage container and the recycle container through two and a half feet of snow. I fell twice, got snow all in my shoes, thought I was gonna have a heart attack. Thank you Mother Nature I said while remembering the lily pads down the canal by my house in Florida.

I know exactly where I'm heading as soon as I fill up the moving trailer!

I lived up north for a while when I was a young person .....
it is quite a contrast for sure ......
we fish in shorts in January down here at times
up there they have a house with a heater out on the ice ......

So what you're saying ED is confirming what we all think, you bring snow where ever you do. LOOK OUT FLORIDA.

So, what you're saying "gene" .... is that if Florida gets snowed upon, we can't blame the huge El Nino' ... but we can blame the big El Gewbero'

I'm enjoying a nice beautiful day on Toledo around 62 today and tomorrow up to 73. here are a couple of pictures from my yard we are still picking peppers.
