Today was my first time to try two polen under supervision and I think it went well. After the rain we got yesterday I wasn't sure how well it would go with the color of the water. One of the beds we fished we had a farmer ask us to skootch over a bit as he plowed past with his single bottom plow an John Deere. Had I gone down with my spider riggin rods, I'd have turned and headed for cleaner water for sure. My guide for the day insisted that if we'd get the jigs right up in their face we'd get bit, and we did. Well I did as my instructor told, saw the depth at the top of the bed, pulled off enough to get inside and, WHAP! Just hard to believe that they' hit that jig in water that looked like it came from Star Bucks. Its always good to have more than one way to chase them. At the end of the day my instructor said we'd kept 27, which was more than any of the other boats we'd talked with. Thanks Badbrad, your a great teacher.

Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer!
Great job boys!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.:rolleyes:slabseeker1 LIKED above post
