Doesnt look like ill be able to go to Kerr this weekend either as I will have my Daughter so I will be fishing local. I had a really good day this past Sunday after church. I caught a nice slab that was scaring 2lbs and ended the day with 82 fish that was pulled over the side of the boat!!!
I went on Thursday, 12 Nov and barely missed the skunk...only one at 9". It was super windy. JimB and Speck--how deep did you find them? I fished deep on Thursday: 10+ feet. Probably should have tried shallower.

Hey Dean I been fishing 4 to 6 feet of water fishing 1 1/2 ft deep fishing your style. Nice fish at the creek mouths when the water is leaving the river. It won't be long and they will move out to the creek channel drops. The water temps are warmer this year and the fish are holding closer to the banks. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Jim. It helps a lot. I should have considered water temp a little more, when I went looking for them. I was going off of time of year, not water temp...duh. The water was 63 when I went. I should have known...
