That'll work. Got to take care of that little buddy!

Good Deal!!! Reminds me of a buddy of mine who was a charter fisherman off the coast of NC. He had a wiener dog that looked almost identical to yours. He was thrown overboard by some water turbulence and was then caught up in some fierce currents of the inter coastal waterway that made rescuing him seem unlikely for a time. It took us almost 30 minutes to get him safely back on the boat and out of harm's way. He too almost drowned... but luckily I managed to snag him with what can only be called a "lucky grab" after several attempts in the rough water. From that day forward: He too was sporting a doggy life vest and a retractable lead that was hooked to the engine kill switch whenever the water and/or currents were rough.

It will also keep him warmer in the cooler months. Does he act like he minds wearing it?

Yes Matt Titan likes to wear stuff as if he did'nt have a care in the world. He is good about haveing stuff on him.

Got the life jacket at Pet Smart, $22.00 very good quality. And very comfy for him. He will never drown with this vest on him.
Its got a spot to hook a leash and a handle on the back to grab to pick him up out of the water. Cool little vest for the little fellow.
