Hate it when that happens. I lost a whole crop of pumpkins one fall during a downpour!

Man this rain will really push the flying Sky carp up the Arkansas, Wont be long and they will be eating your crappie eggs, breeding like wild fire, and destroying spawning habitat. They have already made their way up past Pine Bluff. Just a matter of time before they work their way into Lake Dardanelle and Lake Nimrod. Man I wish we could eradicate those Dam things. Probly see a Asian Flying Carp.Com before long.

That would surely knock a dent in the population!

Truth be told after last years major flooding, I would be willing to bet they are already there...Just no one has been smacked in the face yet while motoring 30-70 MPH. I think this will be the number one issue Facing Game and Fish authorities in the next few years and from what I seen from other states they are losing the battle. I also hear the lakes these things get a strong hold in.... are not near the crappie fisheries they were before the arrival of AFC's. Ok I have ranted enuff about them, I hope there is a solution.

They are already in the Arkansas River as far up as Lake Dardanelle dam (Silver and Bighead Carp).

Guess we really need to push bow fishing, and come up with a Biz...called Flying Carp'y doggie and cat treats. They are coming, just a matter of time before they make their way up past dams at Conway and Nimrod both of which have streams running right to them from the Arkansas River and flood pretty regularly. Choot Em.
