    Default Logan Martin 11/16

Water temp was 62 degrees. I got a late start this morning and my usual spots did not do well. I fished water 9 to 14 feet deep with brush and or stumps. I used various color 1/8 curly tail jigs. I only caught 5 crappie. I then tried shooting a couple of docks and used 1/32 oz hair jigs and caught nothing at them. I spoke with 3 others at the ramp and they did not catch any. I ended up scouting and found some promising places for next time.

Thanks for the report, I think days like this is why we keep chasing Crappie. About the time you think you have them figured out, they vanish, or develop lock jaw.

Crappie fishing has been a real trick the past 5-7 days on Logan Martin and I don't mean in a good way. Hoping that Alabama Power will be a little less aggressive in pulling water over the next few days.
