I had the same results at Randleman on Friday. Water temp was 61 degrees. Two of us fished all day at different depths on brush piles, bridge pilings etc and only managed one green carp. Worst day in memory for crappie fishing.

Only fished three hours (9am - 12:30pm) but couldn't manage even a perch. Was marking fish everywhere they seemed to be 10 to 15 feet in depth. Guess maybe what I saw on the fish finder was just baitfish and no predator fish around? Anyone catch them today and if you did how did you catch them because it's hard to believe with the amount of activity on the fish finder I couldn't catch a fish!
I tried tight lining jigs and minnows. I tried slip sinker fishing. Tried casting and retrieving curly tails. Tried some trusty brush piles that usually produce - nothing.
Any thoughts on what went wrong?
Thanks!

Fished from sunrise to noon on my kayak and between me and my buddy we landed 2 perch and a catfish. Also marked a bunch of fish and was throwing jigs of every kind casting / jigging with no luck
