    Been hearing the catfish bite is very hot despite the flood...looking at going tomorrow or Saturday. Any info? Will report back.

    I would love to, however my health is poor right now and I do not have a boat. Was just going to do a bit of pier fishing.

    If anyone with a boat cares to schedule a crappie, catfish, or striper trip for two drop me a PM. Always a good time and is greatly appreciated.

    Found a few. Small blue cat on livers, few on threadfin shad, and got a keeper striper on a gizzard shad head out on a hump. Had a couple solid hits but they let go immediately.

    Was a pretty day.
