    Default Last year at the Lake D'Arbonne Gathering


    Last year at the Lake D'Arbonne Gathering what was the bait of choice (Shiners ) ( Jigs ) ( Jigs with PINK heads ) its time to put it all out there on the table im getting all my stuff tied up and looking for some experienced Darbonne advice on what to start fishing with 1st

    Last year was not a true sign. We had our gathering in October. But my best combo was pink head with a Popsicle body. Red/char is good too. Shiners are always good. Blue grass is another good one!! The trick is to be flexible and let the fish tell you what is best. AND HAVE PLENTY OF PINK JIG HEADS,!!

    What doc said! Blue Thuder bobby garland jigs always seem to do good up there too.

    I wonder if the local bait store knows we coming and if they have ordered extra shiners

    Right now they are being caught on Monkey Milk, Double Rainbow Glitter, Blue Grass, Threadfin Shad, on the edge of the Channel in 18-25 feet of water, fishing about 18 feet deep. Search for Seekers of Men on Facebook. That is Mr
