I ordered my rods from Prairie Wings, they were running a sale on them. Bought most of the reels from various places (Dicks, etc) as I found them. Guess I've got about $200 on all the rods/reels (maybe a little more). Actually bought 3 reels from a tackle store who was trying to get them off their shelves for 50% off.

What I'm doing about the two seats side-by-side is a sheet of 3/4 plywood, cut to fit the front deck tightly. I'm using some "tee" nuts to fasten seat bases and rod holders to the plywood. In essence, I'm creating a deck that can be removed as a unit that has the seat bases, rod holders etc attached to the base. I'll post up some pics as I get the base done.
