Bigun had Bob Lake of Defiance, Mo. and Vic Lenz of St. Louis, Mo. come down and fished with Joel on Bay Springs Lake catching some nice crappie over the weekend. We fished some tough conditions with the rain and high winds, but with the new B'n'M double touch duck commander rods and the Ego Reach net we managed to land some nice crappie for the weekend. We were single poling brush and standing timber in 10' to 30' of water, water temps were in the low 60's. The crappie are beginning to move shallower and feeding on shad getting ready for the winter months. We would like to Thank Bob and Vic for choosing to fish with us each year. Remember take a kid fishing!

Be safe and good luck fishing
Great job.

nice. I will be hitting bay springs often while im out for thanksgiving break
Nice to see what a fish looks like. Have not been 6+ months.. May have to get out and try to get a few crappie and Sauger next week. That or go buy fish at the Hagys Catfish hotel tomorrow. And that is cheaper then fishing. LOL But not near as much fun.
