    Default Grand Bayou reservoir report

The lake is still down but I was able to launch my boat no problem. I fished around the bridge and all I got was yellow bass they were thumping it though...felt good. Didn't take long for the urge to get the crank baits out

Thanks for the report, theygotaeat. I have been wanting to try that lake, but I had heard that it was too low to launch a big boat. Great catch also. Congratulations!

What size boat did you launch? A previous report said you needed a small boat or John boat to launch a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the reply. I have a 19' Stratos with 175 Johnson so what do you think the possibility of launching it would be?
Did you have to back way out in the water to float yours off? ~~ <*{{{{<<

I didn't have to back way out just launched as usual. ..but it is very shallow. The lady at office said the gates are still open. I trimmed up and idled around the launch and bridge area. I would say it's kinda iffy on the launch
