    The record Black in Louisiana is only 3.84 lbs and was caught in Poverty Point on April of 2010. That comes from the official records. I just looked it up. White is 3.80 also caught in 2010 in may on Lake Verret. PP is near the north border and Lake Verret is 50 miles south of Baton Rouge.
