Lol should have been at winter camp last year.

Frank it's my understanding they are made to attract baitfish which attracts the predators. If you haven't been on our lakes lately there isn't a shortage of baitfish. Never seen so many in all my years......Ranger

Thanks Mark! A friend mine in Texas had asked me if I had heard of ay body that had used them. I have not heard of them. Bait fish has to be a better meal for crappie LOL.

Frank, the owner of the company came up to Winter Camp this past Feb, at my request. We did catch a couple of crappie after baiting a brushpile that had not produced anything all week but, I'm not sure the crappie cakes had anything to do with it. The guy behind all this is definately highly enthused about his product and will do anything to help promote it. Not saying there is anything wrong with that, I'm just not going to help him, they either work or they don't and in my opinion, they don't!
