Default Great day for the kiddos!!

Talked my wife into going with us on Saturday morning to sit with Emily, 13, (due to the complexity of reloading the muzzleloader) so I could sit with Maggie, 11, and of course Zach, 18, hunted by himself. Just a little after daylight Maggie and I saw two deer cross the roadbed we were watching and right after that I got a text from Zach that he had a bad cap and 2 were heading to us. LOL About 8:30 or 9 I told Maggie we should be hearing Zach shoot soon and then got a text from Zach that he had a 5 ptr. down. A little while later Julie (wife) texted me that a small doe was heading our way. It stepped out and Maggie dropped her in her tracks. It wasn't long till we heard Emily shoot. I believe all total we saw about 11 deer Saturday morning and all the kids got the chance to harvest something.

Thanks all!! Sam I think he likes it too much to use. LOL If he don't put a crappie on it this winter I'll make sure he gets it out there in the spring.
