Thread: Converted a green carper to a crappie man.

Today I went fishing with a co worker at Cane Creek today. Started little bit later than Scooperdude but did have a boat in the water by 930. Instead of the usual whipper yacht we fished out of my partner's boat today, a nice bass boat with steering wheel, rib less floor, and functioning fish finder. Showed him how to troll the Dodger Banks and he was able to land 2 right off the bat then the bite shut down there. Showed him a spot I called the "unfinished dessert". Rigged him up with one of Raccoon's old whippers (8ft Wally Marshall Deluxe) with a zebco trigger spin. He caught 2 keepers, a raccoon perch, and a slimer. I caught finally, a 16 in slab that fought like a big slimer. Filled up my partner's livewell as I had enough fish in the freezer to suit me.

I thought that was you waving and hollering from the dock. The barge is too hard to do a tight turn to come over to say help.
