Default Back to Dano's at Gold Creek

Went back to Dano's yesterday and managed to put 5 in the boat and Dano gave me one before he gave it up and went back to the house. Of course, the smallest one is the one Dan gave me :o)

Same ole story as Wednesday, caught about 50/60 in the 4/8 inch range. Missed 5 others at the boat that I think would have been keepers.

Lot of the boats caught a bunch more than me, but I am not much of a fisherman, so I was happy to just pull in few.

I have tried to post a picture, but not sure if it is uploaded. If not, will try again.

You originally from Batesville? I grew up in Newport. Graduated in 1967.

I'm always amazed when I see you guys post pics of your fish in your kitchen. I've been married nearly 20 years to the same woman, I credit part of that to not bringing fish into her kitchen ! Nice catch, thanks for the report !

Not a big deal with my wife. She helps me dress & butcher deer too. She is sure 'nuff country. She is as tough as nails too. She served 24 years in the military.

I will and thanks for the thanks. She always had to out do me. I stayed in 20 and she did 24. She always had 1 more stripe than I did and constantly pulled rank on me when it was time to do the dishes. Small price to pay for what I get in the return.

I have been married to my wife for fourty years now and she has never griped about me cleaning fish in the kitchen sink. She's a 16 1/2" keeper for sure. Just put baking soda in the sink and you will never know a fish was cleaned!
