Went out today and the scenery was awesome at sunup. Fishing was bleak. Water ranged from 60 - 64 degrees and I marked fish like there's no tomorrow. Water was colored but I wouldn't call it muddy. Fish seemed to hang at 10 - 12' in 17 - 20' of water. Kept 5 for the wife an I that made a tasty supper along with mac an cheese and lima beans. So all in all, made for a good day.

This is all I know : Fishing Report | Cedar Creek Lake Outfitters (and it's 3weeks old)

I've also heard rumors (on another site) that they are considering dropping the lake 5-7ft ... to run the little Bluegill off the banks/grass and out into the deeper water, so the Bass will cull their numbers (and kill off some of the grass that's choking the shallows). Not sure when that's supposed to take place, though.

The fish and game dept. are going to drop cedar creek 5-7 feet for the winter. They are suppose yo start draw down first week of November. Last time it was dropped like this was 2007. Like crappie pappy said it is to get rid of grass and small bluegill. This will be a good time to scout out some new spots.
