My partner Sailfish and I rolled out about 5;30 this morning to try out some brush tops we had not visited in a while. Put in about 7:30 at GrassHopper looking for brush. It didn't take long to hook-up with some who wanted to play. 1/16 oz jigs and later 1/32oz with Bobby Garland Chicken, Blue Thunder and Double Silver Rainbow with a taillight. Most were just off the brush tops and near the bottom. Sometimes the deadstick method had to be used but as the day wore on the bite got more aggressive. By 10:00 we had our limit. A little breezy at times but over all a good day. Had 3 TARPS and 21 shorts. Most fish had good shoulders. Those cranes should be arriving soon and it's CRACKER Time!!!!!!!!

Nice!! Wish the crappie on Reel foot would start their fall bite on a consistence basis...
Nice catch guys
Don't you just love fishing the Fall?
What could be more prettier than two limits?
Nice Job!
how did you get sailfish out at 5:30
nice catch guys
Good report and results.
GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
This is a great report, Chris. Love it and the pics. You guys did a number on those slabs.
Are you sure those are not watts bar fish? That's mean to go when garret is in school. Imagine what you would have caught if he had went. Seriously, nice looking catch and congrats on good day.
