Got up early, enjoyed another sunrise, cup of coffee. Took off in the yak and did this. Fish were shallow and light bite. Kept 15, none under 11" with 2 of them right at 13". SMALL baits. Monkey milk and key lime pie were the colors dejure. Looks like a good start to season.

Good catch Mark, how is the water level? I'm out of commission for 30 days, had a pacemaker put in last week.

Nice looking Yak. What brand is it? Still trying to talk myself into getting one. Not real versed on the styles, but yours looks almost like a hybrid between a sit in and sit on top style.

Ascend is the brand. Got it at BPS. It's a sit in 10'. I highly recommend getting a kayak. Great to fish out of,quiet, and I can paddle as fast as a Jon boat with a trolling motor.

Sitting here finishing up the clam chowder Anchor man made me. Hope recovery goes good. It gives me time to clean up my fishing gear.
