You can't go wrong with a Southern. I borrowed Cray's in a tournament and listed my C&C's in the classified section the next day. They are an outstanding rod. They have the sensitivity of a BGJP but the strength of a PST because they have moved the power point down the rod to the mid-section where it's thicker instead of the tip section. It's not as whippy as a C&C so you have better control of the fish especially when fishing alone.

Don't have a comparison but I have 4 14's and I think they are great rods..light,sensitive and good backbone..

I appreciate the feedback. I ordered 8 of them and should have them on Monday.

Blueball, hopefully you won't see them in the classifieds for sale.

good choice the 14 footers are the best on the market.

SteveJ and I use the 14' poles and love them. With 1/2 oz of weight, they have the perfect bend at the tips. The best pole on the market in my opinion.
