    Default Longlining Big G?

Just asking if anyone has started pulling jigs/ long lining on the big G Yet and if so at what speeds and general type areas. My bud and I hope to give it a try tomorrow. Water temp is 64 to 66 right now and the main bait balls are still out over underwater creek channels as of Tuesday. Unfortunately the grass is starting to break up in big floating Islands. Maybe pulling cranks still would be an option. Any input or opinions welcome!!

Believe a lot of the fish are still deep if you can push baits deep that may be the way to go so you can stay out of all the grass right now.

my bud and I only managed 3 and only one of them was over 9 inches. We saw lots of bait clouds in the 5 to 10 ft range out over 20 ft of water and could even see them making our lines shake when we trolled thru them. We pulled from .6 at times to1.0 but mostly stayed at .8. Lots of grass islands floating now but we did not have much grass problems with our lines. Water was 66 to 67 degrees everywhere we pulled. Saw one guy pushing and he had only caught 3 too.

Great report? hopefully the rain coming will bring them up and maybe wash out some of the loose grass.and cool the water down a bit more.
