Here's the link to the campground: Coldwater Lake Family Park.
Here's the link to the policies: Camping Policies

I don't see that phone # listed but there are a few. Looks like a nice campground and has all the "reqs" that we need. I'm sure we will be good with whatever the majority wants.

    I am really confused......
Are we talking about a spring fish camp for 2016? or a fall get together 2015?

No, this is the thread for spring camp ideas only. It's hard sometimes keeping the thought train on the tracks with this group.

We were close. Spent time in Elkhart last year. I just attended the fall Mississippi camp last weekend and heading to one in Florida at Lake Talquin this weekend. Looking forward to being up there next spring.

Default Coldwater lake in Isabella Co.----tidbits

So once again my inquisitive mind prompted me to start looking around for info on the lake and fish, etc. Here's some stuff to ponder:

There are no entries in the Master Angler program for either species of crappie from Coldwater lake, but there is one in 2013 from Lake Isabella. None for walleye either although they have been stocked:

Summary of 2011 Walleye Plantings from rearing ponds in the Southern Lake Huron Fisheries Management Unit (Bay City)Coldwater Lake— Isabella County 33,618

According to the Isabella Co. Parks web page for Coldwater lake, there are Black Crappie in the lake. It shows a max. depth in the southwest end of the lake of 65 FOW. Just FYI.

294 acres, fish species, black crappie, bluegill, brown bullhead, bowfin, carp, green sunfish, pumpkinseed sunfish, large and small mouth bass, pike, rock bass, yellow perch, walleye, white sucker, yellow bullhead.
Looks like we should be able to do some good fishing, although the report I was reading said that crappies were not the most abundant but a lot of walleyes were out their. Are we allowed to fry walleyes at a crappie camp? I have not checked if our four legged members are welcome, but I can check.
I don't see a tree in the boat launch either.
