Default El Dorado Sunday, Wipers, Walleye, and WIND

Had some family come in on Sunday and wanted to go out on the boat. I told them it was windy but if you want to go, I'm for it.

Went to the hot spot and they were still there waiting. Hooked up with a triple first thing. The wipers are hot and ready to hit our cranks. Worked there for an hour and caught several with the biggest at 23.5 inches. Moved down a bit and caught a 26 inch eye in 13 FOW. Ended up catching a few more but didn't make the mark. All fish back for another to catch..... O, I forgot. We did catch a crappie also.... Small but counted...

    WTG, Shane!

I made it out to El Dorado Friday (10/23) afternoon with my dad and son. We jumped all over the lake trolling, jigging, and casting jigs from 20ft deep to 2ft catching fish at all depths. We never found the motherload or big school of wipers but we found enough fish to keep things interesting. Caught everything from walleye, white bass, wipers, white perch, drum, blue catfish, and smallmouth. The bluecat was about 6lbs, and the walleye were 25in and 26in (one was in 15fow the other in 3fow).

It was a beautiful sunset and cool to see the cold front come in and buildup, until we got poured on.
