Thread: 10-15/10-16 beach report

after a long and stressful several months of work training, finally was done with it and decided to run to the beach. problem was all my friends were doing that W thing.

Fished Thurs and Fri.

Thurs not much to talk about....fished my home waters and drowned some baits. weather was nice. just 1 strike and ended the day having fun with lizzard fish and short flounder.

That night got a hot report from a friend so i was excited to hit the water early the next morning.....by myself.

Friday broke the inlet at sunrise in my boat and let me tell you how hard it is to net bait by yourself. took a few hours, but finally loaded up a net full of pogies.
set the spread and waited....then waited....and waited some more. next time i hear a hot report, ill make sure i fish on top of the spot instead of starting a mile away. once i made it to the area, first fish on...then a 2nd. Rounded the trip out with a smoker that burned it down!!. was an absolute challenge fishing solo, but handled it pretty well and dont mind doing it again!! Man i love Fall king fishing!! biggest was 37.4, 31.7 and 22lbs.
