It's a done deal. Two coats of stain and five coats of polyurethane. Fine steel wool worked between each coat - lots of elbow grease involved. I likes it:

Put Eager Allan Crow on it. Pottery made. He's rude, crude, ugly, and obnoxious. Just our style. Pretty cool I thought.

Thanks fellas. That AC/furnace intake on the right - I plan on making some sort of shutter on a hinge to cover it up. I think it will look good. Those things are difficult to make, believe me. And I consider myself a decent craftsman. On a downstairs bathroom, I made a double-door enclosure with full length shutters as a door, which is quite unique. We'll see at it goes. Kulula fresh shrimp on angel hair pasta this evening followed up with fresh cheesecake. Live is good.

I guess I'll have to pick a chilly day to come over so I can see it in action. It really is nice and thanks to your effort it's probably smooth as glass as it should be. It takes all the coats and the rubbing to raise the the grain and seal it to make it as smooth as a baby's behind as the saying goes. Great job Randy.

Very nice job brother. I've got several projects going right now as well. TIME CONSUMING!!! to say the very least... but well worth it in the end.

Your eager allen crow sitting there looking a lil grumpy and surly kinda reminds me of our ""Broom Hilda"

Believe it or not she is a vacuum cleaner cover. Tacky as hell I know but so are we.
