    Default wylie 10/17

after a summer of low water conditions followed by all of the rain the wife and I finally got to get on the water. Dropped the boat in at South Point went to one our favorite honey holes. Marked fish right away, the bite wasn't fierce but were able to put some in the live well before they shut down. The wind was blowing gently from the north so I suggested we just drift along the edge on the channel back to the main lake hoping to maybe cross paths with a school of white perch. We hadn't got 200 yards when my wife's pole went down and she reeled in a nice 10" perch, then mine went down...I looked at the screen and it was practically blacked out....it was like a fire drill for about 15 minutes. Ended up with 16 crappie and 18 perch

Size can vary but most of the time big enough to clean and there is no shortage in quantity!
