    Thought I'd post a video of this tree and some pictures. (The videos not to good though)but u can see how well the spotlock works on the xi5.

    That was impressive! What was the wind actually like when you were filming? I.e. Variable , steady, mph?

    Somewere around 5 to 10 mph. I don't no how the xi5 does it,but it will hold a spot like u see in the video,all day long .without moving off the spotlock location much at all.

    That would be a HUGE improvement over the Terrova spot lock feature.....

    The Terrova spot lock cannot hold that tight :-(

    I'll bet MinnKota is frantically trying to improve the spot lock ......If not they should be.

    Maybe some different programming parameters for MKIP would help, but can never be more accurate than GPS deviation.

    It is my understanding that Xi5 has dual GPS ...which I would assume has much to do with the ability to function more accurately than the single GPS in the iPilot ...
