Lake Meade was good to my friend and I today. All fish were caught on jigs, Cajun cricket was the overwhelming favorite. We ended up with well over 50. I'd say 10 or so were dinks. We kept 20 for the pan. We had eight over one pound with the biggest three going 1.5 lbs. All but one of the other fish were better than 11" and we let many go in that size range. Oddly enough, we ended up with one 10" fish in the mix. I guess in one of the flurries we accidently chucked the little guy in the well instead of back in the lake. I have photos, but my buddy and I are having trouble trading the shots. I'll post them when we finally get that worked out. Fish started out at 4 feet down over 8-12 FOW. They moved mid-morning to 10 feet in 10-14 FOW. We fished from 0730 to 1300.
Great day and report! Makes me think I may be wrong for giving the bow and salt water priority this month.
Nice fish, congratulations. Great day on the water, thanks for sharing.
I have got to get my boat fixed. That is a very nice mess of fish.
