Slide the needle and strands thru the plastic, remove the needle and leave the strands long enough at the head end to tie a simple knot, trim the excess and then gently pull the knot into the plastic body after adding just a wee bit of super glue to the knot. The super glue will lube the entry before it sets up.

Where did you purchase the skirts and jelly bodies from?

You can just buy a package or two of cheap twisters having the length of body that you want, or close to it. snip off the twister as long as you want the body to be. When you buy your twisters buy some cheap spinner baits at the same time that have the skirts the same colors as you want.

Roostertail..PM Snake River for the jelly body or just use some long plastic worms and cut them to the size that you want.

These are wonderful little baits. I have been thinking g on how to do this exact idea. Instead of super glue I would dip them in clear!! I was wanting to mold fiber right in to the body! Very nice baits for sure!!!!
