Default Something that were messing with.

kind through these together didn't really get it perfectly done like I wanted to and should been using a toothpick for the paint job but anyway this is just an ideal that I had another gentleman on here makes them without the marabou so I thought I would try and add some feathers I'm sure that we would come up with something a little bit more tasteful to the eyeball.

The fish should love them. Ought to have a nice wobble and some flash. Looks like injured baitfish to me.

I think they are cool looking, Bob. That is a good color for fishing the bridge pilings on the Louisiana side. Danny

Those look good to me Bob. I did a bunch of slab jigging last winter, and that was a ton of fun. Those should do fine.

Along the same line as this bait Bob, I've been making these little willow blade baits for years. The willows are not weighted though. These are #1 willows.

The ones shown are #1 willows that I poke another hole in the end of the blade that comes without one. I add the rings and trebles and BINGO....excellent bait. The finished one is a dark transparent purple with the glow dot eye....deadly on cold water or winter crappie. I generally add a tiny thread of plastic for a teaser tail or sometimes I'll add a waxie, spike or a minnow head if the fish want meat. Trout like them as well thru the ice when I use a gold-plated blade and add a strip of bright orange tape on 1/2 of one side of the blade running the tape from hole to hole. These are extremely light and a crappie can suck these in from almost a foot away. Sunfish like this bait too.

These can be weighted with solder and an Aberdeen hook can be used by running the hook thru the eye and then laying it down along the hollow side. No need to drill the second hole if soldering.

I sell tons of these when the ice forms on the water around here.

ctom They do make a number one blade or a small blade with two holes I believe that I seen them in one of my catalogs under ice fishing . do you have a Hagen's catalog go to their section where they have ice blades and take a look at swinging spanner ice blades.
