Catch fish (sacs) in the Amite River.
Here's 12 points to remeber.
1)All fish caught on a 1/16 minnow head tube jig black, green, and chartuse.
2) 4-5 feet under a slip cork.
3)Most came off of lay-downs, few off cypress trees.
4)One keeper Goggle eye off a bridge pilling.Plenty off little ones.
5)3 goo under docks
6)0 cats
7) 5 eight inch green trout
8)Fished from the Landing south too Coyell and over to Villar.
9)3pm till 6pm
10) very little water movement which is not good. falling tide is best. IMO
11) water was up just a little and had a dirty gray tint in the river.
12) will be back!
extra credit) The Public Launch is open at Fred's. Hope they pave the parking lot.

Jig Rig, I always love to read your posts. You definitely keep them interesting. Congratulations on a good mess of fish. Beautiful place you are fishing. Send me a PM with your mailing address and I will tie you some black/green/chartreuse hair jigs and send them to you. I might even throw in some lagniappe. You just never know.
