    Default Thursday on Oconee


    Pushed minnows today and kept 21 nice fish. The bigger fish are starting to bite. Beautiful day to be on the water.

    Good Job JAY!!! I bought a new electric filet knife yesterday myself! BTW..Got one of those Mr Twister ones...3 sets of blades...Not worth a crap! best one I have is a GE knife using the BREAD BLADE!!! Works awesome! Those twister blades dull easy and wont cut butter!!!!

    You're right. They are crap. My wife has one of those electric carving knives. I may need to try it.

    golfprocrappieman you sure are right about the filet knifes. The first one I used was my parents electric carving knife from around 1960. It did great and none of the filet knifes I have bought have filet fish better. I am using a American Angler right now but that old carving knife was better. It was made of real metal too. Imagine that something made of metal with metal gears. LOL.

    Agree......on the Mr. Twister......I threw all the ones I had away. Plastic gears just don't last long.

    Best filleting knife on the market...Mora Fillet knife. Stays sharp, and comfortable to use.
