Went there today to work on my trailer and check out the fishing. Beautiful day, 70 sunny, wonderful blue sky. Surprised how many guys were out during the week this fall. No one doing anything good, no crappie. One guy got into a school of small 6" to 7" stripers, not much bigger than his shad rap. Good news for the future I guess. Water was still pretty stained from all the recent heavy rains. Hoping for some good fishing days before the snow. Want to get to Wilhelm and Pymatuning soon!!! What's the old saying, "if it's a great day for a boat ride that's what you are going to get"!!!!

Thanks! I really appreciate the help. I never fished Shenango so would have a lot to learn. Will try to make it in the next week or so. Having a little trouble with my golden retriever. He has been my best buddy for 9 1/2 years so I got to take care of his needs first. Maybe we could get a trip on the Pondtoon together!!
