    Default Perry 10-3

Fish the Perry lake today. Nothing great nothing bad. Fish are still in the rocks in 12 to 23 ft of water. Red and Chart and white and chart where good for us. Bounce the bottom and wait for a thump. Caught 50+ cleaned 10. Wonderful cool weather is so much fun. Good Luck out there.
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D

I would fish rip rap in either Slough Creek Bridge and/or Rock Creek Bridge areas. Start at 12 fow. Slow troll jig poles. Stair step down into deeper water until you find bites. Good luck and post report.

Can't report much different than springhill duck man did. Same pattern. Seemed to catch more on plain hook and minnow than jigs or jigs with minnow. Sprinkled on us all day but still had a good time.

I was on Perry on 10/5 fishing for bass but I caught a few nice sized crappie in the 10-12 inch range, all in less than 6' of water in the lower end of the lake.

Also fished at Perry on Monday, found some keepers like everyone else in the rocks. Also found a couple piles that had shorts with very few keepers. Color preference was black/chartreuse and red/chart. Depth varied from 12ft to 24ft, kind of scattered vertically big time. We ended up with eight keepers.

Thanks for the promising reports guys. Will be out camping w/the kids Fri & Sat, so I'm glad to hear there are still some biting fish, big and small. Stop by and chat if you see me in a black Xpress out there.
