    Default Ouch!!! My rebel rear

is sore. Can't see anything positive in this one. Florida put a whoopin on us. (BRM, Arkansas is gonna grieve some other folks before the year is gone.)

Florida could have beat anyone in the nation last night, they played one heck of a game and the Rebs just went to Florida for the weekend.

    SEC is crazy!

KY gave Florida all it could stand a few weeks ago, beat Missouri last week, and should have gotten beat AT HOME by Eastern KY last night. Won in overtime after being behind by 2 touchdowns late in the game. They didn't deserve to win but to all us longsuffering UK football fans, a win against St. Mary's School for Blind Nuns is a good win.

Really, if you look at all the top teams in the BCS, most can be beaten on any given day by an opponent that on paper should not be capable of winning. I guess they call it parity. I call it playing DOWN to your opponent's level.

I agree with your last statement, mrdux. I have come to the conclusion that the weekly polls i.e. AP25, etc., don't mean anything. Like you said, only on paper!

Florida QB had a break out game. If he plays at that level all year, they will be a force to be reckoned with.

He was flawless. Seemed even more so when we had him under extreme pressure. Can't say much for our DB's.
